yea. the thread in the block is now stripped. don't even know how it happened. nothing i can do? get a new block?

is there any way to do that without taking apart the engine? ...i dont think its stripped all the way down.. but stripped enough that i cant get it to catch. i was gonna get rid of this car. but now i cant get as much for it

hey everyone any info on this would help me as well haha as i am the one who might buy the car... i duno what all might be wrong with it but hmmm i want it to run as good as possible

no biggie. ive seen it happen a lot. get it rethread and your good to go.especially if you have aluminon threads, let this be a reminder people, you dont need to torque the hell out of a sparkplug.

For about $50 to $75 you can buy a Helicoil kit.They make kits to re-thread all sorts of problems,especially spark plug threads.I had to do some of the threads for the valve cover after i had some work done last year.They work great.Just like new(almost)
