i finally got my rb revving past 2500rpm. i drove it 2 times and first time it would miss off boost, hit boost and would pull and run mint. second time it seemed ok all round slight miss off boost but no where near as bad. sat for 2 days and tried to drive, soon as i try press gas pedal it jerks sputters misses etc.
it idles high, adjusting iacv screw does not change idle, but the valve does work ive checked it etc and it operates when plugged in un plug it and revs drop.
missing at idle, waste spark setup brand new coil pack as well. i ran the car today for 20 mins while sometimes revving and looking around trying to find problems etc. before i started it i pulled the plugs and cleaned them. i pulled them afterward aswell and from being clean to after running for 20 min they were so black and dry i couldnt see and shinyness or anything but black on them. literally. i know its over fuelling. but i dont know why? has anybody had this no drive miss symptom and found the problem? its running 25det std turbo, std fuel pump, afpr set to 38 at idle 42 when priming. 15 deg btdc, std ecu std maf. piping joiners are all tight.
plugs are bcpr7es which i know supposed to be 6s but would that 1 step in heat range cause this? lots of my mates run same plugs on fully std everything and its fine. any suggestions or ideas appreciated ive searched google forums etc but nobody seems to have found a solution or its been something dumb like wrong ecu or some shit
cheers guys
