just curious, why probe type as opposed to consult port type? and good luck :)

Why occupy the port? Most gauges come with sensors anyway so now ask why you don't have port gauges for everything. exactly. And you can place the sensor where ever you like... before Rad, after Rad, in Rad, even inside the head... so to answer your question, reliable options!

thanks man. I plan to either weld a NPT bung on my thermostat housing or weld one onto my radiator. Location options are always good like dude said above. And also because its going onto my Evo 8.
