I just finished an RB25 swap in my 1990 S13. It won't start, I have fuel, but no spark. When I turn the key to ON, nothing happens to the ECU, no lights or anything, so I'm pretty sure it's not getting power. I checked the EGI relay and I'm pretty sure it's good. I have purchased a new ECU, a new CAS and a new ignitor. Also purchased 6 new coil packs trying to remedy the problem. My wiring harness is a Chase Bays and I have sent it into them to take a look at it and they said it's fine so I'm seriously running out of ideas. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I've checked the ECU plug pins and there's only 1 pin getting 12v power.

If your ecu was not getting power your fuel pump would not prime. Unless you have it wired to the battery

Pin 58 needs constant 12v. Pin 59 should get 12v with the key on.

Neither of those pins have 12v constant or with the key on. The only pin that has 12v on the entire ECU plug is pin 109, which has constant 12v.

That's what I was thinking man I have a Chase Bays harness and I sent it into them and they looked it over and said it was good to go. I wish there was someone around here who could let me borrow a wiring harness to see if that is what's wrong and if it works I would buy it.

Ok... you are the 4th person with an RB Chasebays harness that I've heard complaining. On one buddy's car we vampire clipped a switched 12v to 59 just so the car would start. All sorts of things didn't work, but I didn't stay to help after the car ran. Another friend is in the process of completely going through his Chasebays harness. So far, he found the CAS, TPS, and MAF were wired wrong.

Damn really? That's a shitty thing to hear I was under the impression that Chase Bays was a pretty legit company. Could you possibly explain the process of vampire clipping a 12v switch to pin 59? If you don't mind man sorry to be a pest I would just love to get this car running. Maybe I'll contact chase bays and see if I can get some of my money back. They definitely seem to have awesome customer service if that matters at all.

Yeah, the guy who had the problem with the MAF, TPS, and CAS wiring sent it back three times and eventually said fuck it and fixed it himself with a few friends.
