alright i've had the s13 coupe for about 2 and a half month now, i love how you guys and 240sx.org talks about very technical stuff.  but, i have to doug on 2 240sx's, while i was out for a driving, i saw a 240sx Type R, wtf? man, gotta smash that one, it's a disgrace to nissan.  and just las night, i saw a parked 240 coupe, i thougt it was an integra at first (since they look alike), it had a R emblem over the trunk key hole, and next thing i saw was, GT-R, i was like, hellz naw, integra don't got no GT-R, as i looked closely, it said, "Nissan GT-R Power", i'm like, ok, gotta smash this one too, it was a 89-90 240, a beat up front end, i don't see no intercooler, which could mean, no sr20det, or yes sr20det, most likely no.  so yah, just thought i'd share

Anyways, other than smashing their cars, you could leave a small pamphlet or letter saying "join www.zilvia.net" so we can "eDuMaK8" them.  rather than beating down ignorance (or in this case rice) why not simply teach?

Why do we want ricer 240 owners on here again :confused: If there's one common trait in ricer's (besides that constipated look that they have when there driving) it's there stubborness to see there own stupidity, so it's not like we'll change there ricer way's. Definately a good point, but you can see it another way too... ricers (in the original sense of the word ie exhaust tip and stickers for things they don't have) are posers, imho. They go out and get this stuff cuz they think it looks cool on thier car, but they don't want to take the time to sit down and learn about their car, u know?

I think i've been pretty good about using the term rice, keeping to the original meaning. I mean, if I see something that's just totally stupid, I say just that, it's totally stupid, I don't say everything is rice.

imho, if you want a big body kit or something like that, it's your choice. Some of them look really horrible, but if it looks good to you, then hey, why not right? Then again, that can be taken a step too far as well, like if someone just gets plain cocky about it, when they really don't have much to show, u know? Or people that talk a lot of shit, but don't know what they're talking about.

I respect anyone that's put work into their car, knows what they're talking about and is proud of it.

Personally, I just try to avoid as much BS talk as possible. &nbsp;There's just TOO many people who dont care to research, let alone work on their own cars. &nbsp;I dislike people who talk down to others, yet cant do anything by themselves -- they cant install an intake, let alone custom-fabricate one. &nbsp;I have one friend who talks so much shit, yet he cant fucking install a pair of sidemarkers on his new yellow IS300. &nbsp;Why did I mention the color? &nbsp;Because it has to do with &quot;that&quot; personality. &nbsp;You all know what I mean.. ;)

Anyway, I try not to mock anyone.. low-riders, japanese car enthusiasts, domestics.. whatever, its all good to me.. as long as its done in good taste. &nbsp;Nowadays, there's just too much hype.. too much trend.. too much anti-honda.. too much rude-ness in general.

I used to be very happy owning a NISSAN -- I still am. &nbsp;But, I wouldnt mind owning a Honda or Toyota either. &nbsp;Its all about respecting good quality &amp; good people.

Well, it seems like you and I think basically the same mike. It's that know-it-all but doesn't know anything type of person that annoys me. I know quite a few of them around here, and they're just annoying as ####. It's not just cars either. Whether it's computers, DJing, or whatever, there are always going to be people making an ass out of themselves and thinking they're smart.
