So i am doing an Sr20 swap, and need some opinions since i'm no Pro. Here is what i am looking at right now.
Sr motor set w/ tranny from ebay. $2200
Fujii-SPL Stainless Steel Power Steering Line-$100
s14 gauge cluster from ebay-$100
walbro fuel pump-100$
cxracing intercooler kit off ebay-$200
cxracing radiator off ebay-$130
random ebay exhaust $130
sr20 redtop rebuild kit-$120
Anything you guys would change/add? im trying to buy most of the parts first, then the engine last as soon as the car is prepped. Is that a good way to do it? im trying to do this for around $3400. Cant spend more then $3800

you're gonna wanna get a new clutch and get the flywheel resurfaced and get new slave cylinder and a new water pump, probably replace all the belts aswell, you are going to need a down pipe aswell and a test pipe or you can use your stock cat if you don't care, the rest depends when u get it, i would get a seal kit for it and replace as you see necessary, drain the oil when u get it, make sure theres no metal shavings in it, make sure the oil pick up is clean, also pull the cam squirters off and clean those out with compressed and a brake clean and make sure there aren't any catastrophic looking wear marks on the cam lobes

Why do you need the cluster and what is included in the "rebuild kit?"

I need the cluster because i have a sohc and i need a dohc cluster. And the rebuild kit is just like seals and head gasket.
Will i NEED a new clutch? Im on a budget

I'm in the same boat as you and probably most people doing a swap. You most likely don't need a new clutch right now, but you will probably need one in the near future so save some money and thank yourself for taking care of it right now.

You can inspect the clutch to see how worn it is. The trans is far easier to remove and put back while the engine is out of the car.
I have no idea why slow thinks you need a slave cyl. That will be on your current car, and can be easily replaced (2 bolts+line) whenver it actaully breaks.
You'll need to budget $20-40 for working out the heater core piping. I'm not sure if anyone has a guide, but I had to piece together several random heater pipes to get the bends and sizes correct.
