Need help. LSD is stuck in Japan

Ok.. my hlsd is stuck in japan, and I'm having trouble getting shipping info. The thing weighs 40kg, and the post office won't ship anything over 30kg. FedEx wants $800 lol.
The guy says he can't drain the oil because laws are strict or something, and isn't familiar with cars, yet wants to somehow ship this in 2 pieces, like output shafts separatly, and I don't know how to tell him how to remove them.
Anyone know of a shipping company that will ship 40kg internationally? Or the easiest (safest for me) way of telling a leyman how to remove output shafts?

they just pry out, but he will have to drain the diff. When the output shafts come out, so will all the fluid.

Ship it in 2 parts... Pumpkin in one and diff/output shafts in the other.

have you tried other shipping companies?
check out BAX global they usually have really good rates

have you tried buying it from companies that have them here that are left over from clips? Jspec.com has them, McKinney gets them on occasion, Phase2.....talk to them. Save yourself the trouble and $$$

Already won a Yahoo Japan auction. $150 for a full differential, with outputs, ect. I've seen 2 ebay auctions that come with output shafts, and none on any websites. I'm just trying to get it over here. I've got the guy looking at BAX Global, as well as possibly separating the output shafts and/or differential.

jeff kinda OT but are you doing proxy bidding on yahoo auction? and if so what service are you using?

sorry about the OT. anyways if you know anyone in the military or other organizations like that around the seller you can ask them to pick it up from them and have him/er send it back, cause it mite be a bit cheaper
