for sale is a NISMO cross-mission 6spd tranny (s15) this tranny was out of the old driftspeed silver s15 driven by yoshioka in d1gp etc.. was rebuilt 1k miles ago
mint condition! frsport sells them for $6500 and the shifter / tranny mount etc is an extra $300

im asking $5000 shipped for everything ( tranny, shifter, trans mount, 1 piece driveshaft for a s15 ) OPEN TO TRADES

again this might as well be new so save $2k! ... i was keeping this for a street car project but i dont have the time at the moment and my Gs300 is soaking up all my funds as my daily

where would you get the parts to rebuild this thing. is this a 5k transmission thats done after its seen X amount of events?

Im sure if you could answer this question you would have more serious interest. Sorry. Yeah its a cool box and all but 5k for a transmission that doesnt really have stateside support? wouldnt be a smart investment.. Does enjuku sell rebuild kits?

5k for this used drift trans is a little much, considering people who want a upgraded 6 spd trans could just swap in a z33 trans for about 1k....... regardless glws....

driftspeed used this in there car for all of d1gp usa series as well as gymkana events and rebuilt it on the 3rd season of use... im in no intense rush to sell lol.. i dont care if people are afraid of it yada yada.. fact is if i cannot sell it i will leave it on the shelf it sits on until i build a street car in the future ( whenever that may be) its a transmission.. and yes im sure the parts can be sourced direct through nissan / nissan japan.. its not a 2020 space tranny so its nothing that cant be fixed if broken :)

Def out of my price range but it seems legit! The 6 speed advantage that the z33 transmission has over the Z32 seems much more of a novelty rather than a race proven alternative to the stock SR tranny; and with a stock 6 speed s15 mission is even worse, I wouldn't consider it a viable alternative either! Mazworx does't even recommend it and they make adapters! so to anyone who does complete it, I wish you the best of luck but I personally would stick to a z32/skyline tranny with a 5 speed. And well, if you want a reliable 6 speed, you gotta pay to play. Racecars are expensive for a reason ;)

Free bump and GLWS! I think $4500 is a great deal. May wanna note whether this comes with a speedo recalibration or the mounting kit required to fitting this into an s13/s14.

fact is this 6 spd transmission can hold 500whp if being used with a nismo coppermix clutch * the clutch is the key to not blowing these trannys up... I DO NOT NEED ANYMORE TROLLS WHO ARE BUTT HURT AT A PRICE THATS OBVIOUSLY UPSETTING THEM CAUSE THERE POCKETS ARE EMPTY... MOVE ON AND GO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO AND SOME OTHER POST TO BE ALL " intelligent " in ..

i personally drifted the driftspeed s15 @ east coast bash when it was still setup with the sr20 and it felt amazing! the gearing is amazing for drifting/ roadracing and shifts smooth and never had any kinds of grinds.. personally i have a os giken triple plate on my SR so i went with z32 as i would surely break this tranny with such a harsh clutch and didnt want to just waste a rad tranny. PERIOD! if somebody has a sr putting out 350-500whp and mates this with a nismo super copper mix single plate clutch you will not regret it :D

^ i purchased the whole sr20 motor and trans setup from the current owner of that s15 ( my friend) as he purchased it directly from driftspeed * the driveshaft has a driftspeed sticker on it as well so if you doubt this then well nothing i can really say to you :/ ( HE WENT WITH A 2jzvvti swap in the s15 )

I CAN GUARANTEE 100% this is as advertised though.. i pulled this swap from the said s15 myself last fall ** probably still have email of the old build sheet from when this said s15 was sold to my buddy

can i ask what receipts would offer you in this situation... product for sale is as stated and to buy anywhere else would cost $6500 + 300 for shifter etc.. sooo from that price and the fact of it being rebuilt by driftspeed and my buddy putting less then 500 miles on the trans i would consider it pretty much like new minus $2k off list:wiggle:
