View Full Version : S13 tension rod bolt help
I'm trying to replace the bushings on my tension rods and I can't get the driver side bolt off. It spins freely and shit and the nut is off but it won't come out no matter how much I hammer it.

I ran into that with my first car i ended up cutting the bolt so the rod could come free i replaced with aftermarket but once you do that you can replace bushing and get another bolt if its seized that bad u dont want it in there controlling wheelbase ne way hope this helps
Yeah I figured I might have to do that, but would I be able to get the bolt out after I cut the outside of it?

If you cut on the insides of the bracket it will fall out then you can heat and beat safely away from your car but new bushings should have chi-rot free bolt eyes
