I just recently did a sr20 swap into my s14
When I have the Tps connected it idles up and down when "idling" but I disconnect it and it idles smooth.

I hear it's just the Tps needs to be re adjusted.

Can anyone maybe give me any tips before I make it worse? It's the typical three pin connector.

Any advice would be great

THANKS

You need to search online for how to, its been covered many times before. You may also want to check you iacv to verify it is functioning/not gummed up.
try this thread for tps adjustments

I've looked it up before, I was just seeing if any of you guys had any tips that they might cover on other walk throughs.
Thank you I definitely appreciate the link also

sometiems setting it at the fsm voltage isnt good because the only basic self learn feature these computers have is for the tps voltage so the ecu isnt dead set on having that voltage.

I like setting it at the fsm voltage and using something like datascan or nistune to clear the self learn

My voltage at the Tps is reading 5.16. Do I maybe have the volt-meter on the wrong setting?

Your tps is maxxed out. Probably bad

You think so? When I was adjusting the Tps the voltage isn't even change a hundredth of a volt. Probably should get a new Tps? I even voltmetered the Tps (light green wire) at the ecu and was giving the same volts

your ecu wasnt giving the same volts, it was taking the 5v the tps was giving it. its bad
