Considering selling/trading my speed 3 GT. Has 79k miles and climbing due to it being my daily.

Cobb AP tuned by Boostcreep of dizzytuning
CP-E Nano SRI
CP-E nviscid turbo inlet pipe
OBX catless downpipe
Godspeed type c IC & protege garage piping kit
Autotech Fuelpump Internals
Grimmspeed ebc
JBR 70 duro motormounts
Bilstein Shocks/struts
Eibach Prokit springs
18" TSW Nurburgrings in gunmetal
Kumho Ecsta 4x 235/40/18
16" mazda oem wheels with goodyear winter tires

It has a jvc deck/navi system, leather upholstered seats, HID's etc. Everything that comes stock with the grand touring trim sans the shitty stock navi.

Issues:
the synchros/shift fork in 2nd. It goes into 2nd and accelerates in 2nd perfectly fine, however when coasting/engine braking in second for more than a few seconds it will pop out.

I have a good transmission without the issue that just needs to be installed. Car is still perfectly drive-able with the issue.

Some paint issues here and there, primarily just chips. There are a couple areas I've touched up and you can't notice shit.

Car is quick, torquey and pulls hard. Power is at about 290ish to the wheels with about 340lb ft. It's a perfectly good dd, and handles the winter weather well with snow tires the lsd and tcs.

Really looking to trade for a cleanish s13 or s14 and cash. KBB/Nada is around 13 for my vehicle.

there's a photo. I can nab some more if there are any interested parties.

Thanks!

**long detailed post alert! lol

I didnt want to get into the details too much in my listing but Im trading because i got into a bad accident 3 months ago in my 94 rx7 with my gf as passenger. shes better now but was hurt pretty bad and since then, she refuses to ride in any of my sports cars. I sold the supra off fairly quickly and also the wrecked rx7. i wanted to keep this car as a sentimental piece cause i put a lot of work into her but since she wont get in it and i do not autox, drift, drag ect, it has not use. I dont want something so nice to just sit there and have decided to trade her for something more conventional and give her to someone who can enjoy it

I noticed you were interested in trades for clean s13's and s14's and figured an FC would REALLY tickle you pink lol.
yea to clear up the misconception about rotaries, any rotary specialist/mechanic will say that they are just as reliable if not more than conventional engines. Its just that the general public neglect maintenance on all cars and not just rotaries. the thing is; rx7s/8s need to be well lubricated cause of their apex seals. Enthusiast swear by them because their enthusiasts and obviously keep up with maintenance.

these seals blow cause every rotary has a oil metering pump (OMP) that distributes a bit of oil in the motor. Again, general drivers of these cars think they can go 5,000 plus miles between oil changes and dont realize that the OMP utilizes the lubricants that they dont change out often enough.

Most guys who modify rotaries do not rely on the OMP for lube to the engine and simply put oil into the gas tank before every fill up. I already have a simple measuring canister in the glove box that help me measure 1 ounce per gallon of TC-W3 oil ($3/quart @ autozone, walmart, gastations, anywhere) in my tank. Its literally that simple. some even use this method in conjunction with the OMP.

I wouldnt sell anyone on a product their not comfortable in having but as far as reliability goes, I look at it this way... the modifying scene is still flooded with FC's and FD's. they have lasted just as long as any other sports compact from their era. their amazing cars with amazing motors. it just takes some know how =) and if anyone is ever interested, i encourage you to ask any one of you car buddies if they know someone whos modified rotaries before. have them come take a look at my car with you. guarantee they will be blown away by how healthy it sounds and is

sorry for the long reply bwahaha
