Our next meet will be in the East Bay, at Pleasanton Sports & Recreation Park, Parking Lot 2. Parking Lot 3 (adjacent to Parking Lot 2) is expected to be closed, but if it becomes open we may use that lot instead.

After entering Parkside Drive, you'll see Sports Park Drive on your right. Enter Sports Park Drive and the first lot will be Parking Lot 2. Please refer to this map of the park (http://www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us/pdf/rec_sportsparkmap.pdf).

that would be sweet if we could set up a game, we'd have to make it more sorta required though(or at least have a meet that is purely football/baseball/basketball action), otherwise... as I've seen in other meets, only three or four people will be throwing the ball around. But I'd really like to see a real game at one of theses meets. Maybe S13s vs. S14s, FBs vs. coupes, whatevers clever. I'll bring my spare clothes just in case.

Anthony you got some great ideas, except making the meet during lunch time. Bah... I don't wanna deal with getting people to bring enough food to feed 50+ people. :P But an afternoon snack (with lumpia!) would be nice. Pizza sounds like a good idea too. Little Caesar has large single-topping pizzas for $5 each. They'll probably all be cold by the time people get to eat them though. Sodas would be good too. Those supermarket imitation brands are good enough.

And yeah, bring a foodball, baseball stuff, whatever. Parking Lot 3 and so on are closed but the park is open. RC cars would be cool too, hehheh...

unfortunately, he does not speak english. but he does have the rare S16 silver-top SR swap with 7 speed tranny. and he attracts lots of hoes. just dont bend over in front of him or anything like that. :eek3:

its a hybrid tranny. 1-3 are manual and 4-7 are sequential, it has 2 different shifters depending on what set of gears you are working in. the S16 engine is only available in certain parts of japan and its very rare, i think koto has the only one in teh USA, he shoudl go to the meet so everyone can check it out, its a silver top SR.

Ok mapquest says it's off HOPYARD RD/DOUGHERTY RD exit off I580. someone confirm cause i wanna make sure it's the right spot. Also what happened with the food issue? It seems like maybe we should grub before the meet. Maybe somewhere near the spot.

Yeah you can get there from Hopyard Rd.

Food... Don't count on the meet to fill your stomachs. Meet is at 2:00 PM and the only food there (if any) will be snacks. Go ahead and have lunch before the meet. Or group together with a few hungry people at the meet and get some food.

I've e-mailed a few people about a pre-meet in Fremont at 1:00 so we can drive to the meet together. We'll meet at Tapioca Express at 1964 Driscoll Road / Fremont, CA. It's in that plaza with Chevron and Taco Bell, at the Driscoll Rd and Paseo Padre Pkwy intersection. We'll leave for Pleasanton at about 1:30.

The meet turn-out was a bit little less than normal (no doubt cuz Koto didn't show) but I think it went pretty well. A few of us probably really missed our old cars.

yea that was me, i was so tired that night......... i ended up stoping at some spooky motel outside bakersfield :ugh: ....... i dedn't realize i missed highway 5 till the next day but it was cool, the road we were on ended up going back to 5.... got home at about noon that sunday.
