You should always buy things new! Dont cheap out on cooling system especially since its summer. Ive had good experience with the cheap two rows in my previous s13.

there is 2 things i honestly dont want to fuck with or cheap out on, brakes and cooling system... get a good rad and thermostat and you wont have issues. no autozone crap, Napa is where the good quality shit is at.

CXRacing Radiator has been working fine for me for over a year. It's essentially a carbon copy of a Koyo Rad, just way cheaper.

I love my mishimoto, and I got it brand new for 200 shipped. Lifetime warranty.

I loved my cxracing rad on my TT z32. Kept my temps at 175.
And if you know anything about z32's is that their cooling systems are very finicky if not right.
plus the cxrad is the same specs as the mishimoto.

I recently bought an Egay KA/RB radiator for $120 shipped with 2 efans. It looks exactly like and same quality as the ISIS SR Radiator I got.

Maybe change your thermostat too. Possibly pressure building up cause it isn't flowing. Happened on my 95 Accord. I run the Godspeed radiator in my S14 KA-T came with 2 electric fans for 200.00. Doesn't get a tick past 180 on a hot day sitting in traffic with the AC on.

As for the thermostat, I am running a Nismo one. That I don't pinch on.
