So apparently KA-T.org is down today..wtf. Anyway I have a 92 se coupe and have been planning on swaping a 96 KA24DE in it to replace my Original Dual Cam because its got 220k on it. Then my plan was to do a low boost t-25 KA-T. Beside the point. I bought a 90 Hatch for spare parts and it had a 96 KA in it. I have been working a little each day to prep it to pull and found that the harness is beyond fucked.., there is what looks like rust around the coolent returns from the radiator and there is oil caked all over the lower half of the engine.. I know for a fact the engine has 77k on it but the guy i bought if from never turned if over due to no fuel pump and a dead battery. I bought the car stupid cheap so i can sell it for scrap as is and make a $200 profit. Im not sure if i should continue and pull the engine and see whats up? or if i should just stop right now and sell it to prep for a rebuild on the KA in my coupe.. Any thoughts??
