Background:
1995 240SX, aftermarket radio installed years ago, no current electrical issues. As of lastnight I swapped in my SR20DET & Wiring Specialties harness from a previous car. It also had no issues. Used the same grounding points, harnesses and everything.

Issues:
Started right up and ran perfect. Noticed the corner lamps & cluster lights would get extremely bright for a second then back to normal. Also my radio & clock would reset back to 1:00 after every key turn. Also noticed that I had no gauge movement, window power, radio etc till 10sec after the car was running.
Driving down the road today the car shutoff, 30A ignition fuse was blown. Swapped in another and it blew as soon as I turned the key. Checked all grounds, no exposed wiring in engine bay, or fender harness. Removed steering column cover, inspected the ignition switch, unplugged it. Replaced 30A fuse, plugged it back in, turn key and still blows the fuse...

Where do I start? Is there an easy way to bypass so I can atleast roll my windows up? Thank you in advance.

check the lower harness where the starter and alternator is attached to, also the power wire on the alternator should be insulated from the alternators housing.

A day later (today) I disconnected & connected the dash harness and it started up just fine. Still had the delay with the interior accessories, did a bit more digging around and found a cut in the power wire running to the 75A in the fuse panel. Replaced the wire, all symptoms are fixed!

Hope this helps someone else out in the future :)
