after having milky oil and 90psi on all my cylinders i pulled my motor. teared it down, the pistions could move side to side and i could hear the cylinder hearing the walls and making a tick sound everytime i moved them around, so im assuming bad rings? maybe that could be the cause of 90psi on all cylinders also how do my bearings look, they have shinny and dull spots, according to the PO this motor was rebuilt.also all the cylinder walls looks smooth and great except #4 were theres a scratch and you can def feel it.

I dont see anything terrifying. I have seen much worse and he motors were 'running great'

well the bearings are not anything to get freaked out about. They look to have a chatter-ish type patern in them VS a wiping type patern. & they do look new.
NOW as for that bore damn something is wrong, improper bore sizing VS ring gap VS piston size. Or using chrome rings on a cast iron,NFG. The bore clearly has ring chatter, either rings are too loose because bore is too oversized for the use of STD. RINGS & PISTON. oR THE HONE was no good to start with.
Or the motor has a serious misfire under reallly high loads(big boost)high rpm,or you bang on the limiter alot alot alot
the more i look at it t,there is no hone (crosshatch) rings never seated/sealed.

Well the motor ran like ass when i got it. The front 3 cylinders were black and #4 cylinder(one with the scratch on the wall) was very clean. The rings are evergreen 0.50. Pistions are cast 50 over. I ordered acl bearings but i got clevite for the price of the acls :). Anyways the pistion does have some movement while its in the block. The ring gap was under .25. (smallest feeler gauge i had at the momment). I also bought a felpro headgasket and felpro headbolts. Im just looking to dd this car. Im 16 and i dont need a fast as car. Just trying to get it running and safe

Bearings are fine assuming they are the correct size for the crank
As to previous statemts of "bore chatter". Yeah. Sure. You read that in a magazine?
90psi compression and milky oil sounds like edgy head gasket. Measure your bore and measure your pistons then you'll know what your dealing with but with your end gap size stated above, you sound like your doing great. It looks like someone dingleberry honed it with a glaze breaker on a drill. Thats why youve got a "different" looking crosshatch pattern. If you can't feel the scratch in 4 with your thumbnail it will probably be ok.

I can defintly feel the scratch but i installed just that cylinder in and i turned the motor over byhand and it was smooth and i didnt feel the cylinder catching and making scrapping noises.

It would be better to try and hone that out even if you ended up with a cylinder that was .001-.002" over spec. Not with some sprung stone pep boys hone but a real machine shop hone. It won't hold good compression. It won't catch if you rotate it by hand unless it's massive.

hahaha I said ring chatter,no I didnt read it in a mag, none of the mags in the US are worth the time or the paper their printed on,hahaha & that is a common sight in motors with poor hone jobs(glazed cyl) just like I said before....but carry on lol
You may want to check the piston to bore clearance before you proceed. Peace out

It isnt easy to build an SR20 engine right, even if you know what you are doing. If those are cast aluminum pistons, and if that was my engine, I would:
A. Put it back together the best I could and cross my fingers that it's ok
B. Pick up an OEM longblock just in case its not
That way instead of being discouraged when you find the situation has not been improved you can just slap another engine in and be done, daily driving.
