So i dont know what this noise is, im irritated and ive about had enough of it. It got tuned the other day and directly before putting it on the dyno it was making the noise but right when they got the car on the dyno it stopped. Tuning went fine, right after pulling it off the dyno, first pull on the street it started again. Brand new 5557, its getting oil, the bov is opening so i'm ruling out surge or stall, i've opened the turbo up and the fins arent hitting the housing. Im lost. I put my hand on the comp housing and rev it and i can feel a vibration when the noise occurs. Any idea?

Sounds like if the compressor blade is making contact with the housing. Have you checked for scratch marks around the housing where the blade spins?

Would look like this:

I would suggest call Precision before it gets any worse. If its not some sort of heat shield, or loose bolt or something it could be something internal in the turbo.
