Found A Surprise Turbo Today

Well I have my SR20 pulled and it's going to the machine shop soon. I thought I would have a stock turbo on the motor... turns out theres an IHI VN14 turbo on it. It's in great shape. No shaft play and spins smoothly.

Does anyone know what this turbo is worth? I'm building my motor to make about 300-350WHP. Is it a worthy turbo or is it junk? I would keep it if I could hit my power goals with it.

It's the same as the pe1420. Should be good for 300-320whp, according to my friend who bought one. He got his for ~$300. He says it will start to choke at around the same place an s15 turbo will.

I'm gonna be running an IHI RHC6 on my RB, should be good enough to get me to 400 hp or so.

I'd keep it if I were you, better than the stock turbo.

Apperantly its in the autech version s14. And other google results showed australian market silvias with this turbo.
