Hello Zilvia, my name is graham and ive owned 10 s chassis and worked on countless friends cars.

i have a s13 coupe with blacktop sr

MODS

-garrett gt2560R (s15) w/ turbo smart 38mm ultra gate
- Z maf
-660cc injecter
-hks 264 step 2s Bc springs retianers
- safc (i have an AEM ems but im afraid to plug it in. the car ran fine before

PROBLEM

I pressure washed my engine bay and the car would NOT start. it would flood with gas. if i turned off the fuel pump (its on a switch) it would start and i would have to flip the switch and catch the engine from dying before it burned off all the excess fuel.the wide band is pegged at 10. thats the only way i can get it started.and its running hella rich 10.0 at idle.it would normally be 14.5-15.7 at idle

this has happened to me before and the car started after a night sitting.

THINGS IVE CHECKED

-swapped ecus with known good one
- swapped ignitors
-pulled all fuses and relays and blew them out with a compressor
- pulled as much fuel back as possible with the afc
-rewired the maf from the ecu
-check afc wiring
-BLew out CAS with compressor
-pulled the rail and watched the inject0rs spray with no O-ring leaks

ive done a couple other things with no results

i have a aem ems ive just been waiting for my tuner to be available and try to make 350+whp. i was running 1bar with the safc and everything was great.

i want to reconnect the maf signal wire and run the stock maf but i dont have my stock 370s anymore

QUESTIONS

can the piece of shit SAFC go bad? like burn out?

is there a injecter relay?

besides the ECU what else controls injecters?

would a fualty coolant temp sensor cuase this?

a bad FPR would cuase it to go lean right?

at one piont it reved to 5K with the maf unplugged

im pretty sure its the harness just seeing if anyone else has had a problem like this from the rain. ive done lots of searching and reading for the last 2 days.next thing is im gonna pull the harness and strip it down and follow all the injecter leads. and ditch the afc for the ems. guess its time to heat up the soldering iron

i wish i had a multimeter that would help but im stuck at my sisters with limited tools

Cliff notes

-im a moron
-pressure washed engine bay
- car now floods with gas
-when it runs it idles with 10.0 AFRS and have to keep it nearly floored to keep it alive

thanks guys for any input. this is my daily and my baby. and i need it back!

Ps when i was pressure washing i didnt hit anything directly, NO fuse boxes mafs, just the wheel wells and fire wall mainly didnt even do the engine. ive done it befroe with no issues.

sorry for any spelling errors.
