ok so i just got a family owned 1 owner s14. drives great but has a problem. whe n i put it in 1st it like grinds. but when i put it in 2nd to 1st its normal. when i take off it starts chirping like a fwd? haha. dosnt have a welded diff just stock open. also when i press the clutch its makes a weird noise like a eerrrrrrrr. anyone had this problem? they only replaced the clutch disk not the presaure plate. should i just get a stage 1 clutch with a new plate or is it something else?

Throwout bearing might be going bad. Chirping could be solely your driving or your tires are so bald they're not holding.
Your synchros are going bad leading to not being able to put it into first gear. or, you need to put fresh gl-4 tranny oil in it. I recommend Redline Mt-90

if thats the case il buy new ones and new oil/clutch kit hopefully it does the trick

Clutch or slave cylinder leaking, not allowing full throw of the pressure plate. If nothing has ever been replaced, I would just replace everything in the clutch system. Also check the pedal bushing, might be worn not allowing full pedal travel.
