Ugh, I miss my car! I've only been driving my beater for about a month, but it's driving me crazy not having the 240! I think we should start a support group for people in cold weather climates that have to drive another car during the winter, anyone else with me? hehehehe
Hmm.... my new s13 coupe is my beater for now. I havent washed it since I got it. hehe.
I have never driven a FWD. Until this year I had to drive a few FWD in the snow and honestly, it scared the fuck out of me. I can drive better in a RWD in the snow then with a FWD car. Its ezier to predict and control and its alot more fun too. Maybe its just me and not knowing how to work with FWD without the EBrake but.... no oversteer SUX!

hehehe, with me it's the ground clearence that becomes the winter problem. More than four or five inches of snow, and my car can't get out of the driveway. I'll agree with West, RWD is doable in the snow, but you need to practice it

Yeah, RWD in the snow is definately doable. I did it all last winter. First with a truck and then the 240 at the end of the winter, but as misnomer said, it's hard getting a 240 our of the driveway when there's mounds of snow in the way. Oh, and don't forget snowboarding! Gotta have room for my board and some friends
i have to drive my car in the winter, i cant afford anything else...
i'm not really having any trouble unless it is really slippery...
side note... did a synthetic oil change today and after i put 3 litres in i realized i forgot to change the oil filter.... so i had to go back and buy 3 more, waste of like $20.. oh well im an idiot

Before moving to FL just keep in mind tons of old people driving huge cars changing lanes and merging without a care. Oh and when it rains it pores and you have morons sliding around in their monstrous SUV's going off the road. On the bright side tons of 240's around in good shape for parts, lots of three lane highways....oh and and scantily clad girls galore.

heheh, true, true. I forgot about all the SUV's. There aren't many good back roads in florida either... (from what I can remember)

I guess my beater car would have to be my 85' monte carlo, its sooooo hard to drive in the winter, cuz i live in MN its all ice, the only fun thing with the monte is that it is rather powerful, im not all about domestics, but everyone who is loves my car, im like "trade u, you got a black 91 fb, 240?"
