I've got a JDM S14 with an SR20DE
What I am wanting to know is, has anyone had any experience with using FWD SR18/or even SR20DE cams in an S14 SR20DE/T and to what gains they got or should expect.
Yes I understand tha I will not be able to retain my VCT etc but am not worried about that.
Thanks in advance.

i'm not sure with the sr18 but your motor has a bigger lobe than the sr20det motor. but if you want i'll trade you my sr20det s14 cams for yours. they're an upgrade for me. :)
edit: and you can still retain your vvt.

SR20DET cams will be a down grade for my car, SR18DE cams should be an upgrade as theyre 251 degrees intake and exhaust rather then 241, 247 (IIRC)

The autech cams out of the S15 Silvia would be a decent upgrade. And Ive got a lightly used set of Toda 264's that were just pulled out of my S14 with SR20DE. Made around 190PS, perhaps even more.

The only problem with S15 autech cams would actually finding them. There is the odd complete motor that pops up for sale but for around $1200 NZD. I managed to score a set of $45 NZD.
The specs for the S15 Autech cams are very good though from what Ive found they are 275 Intake and 256 Exhaust with 11m of lift on both.
