it doesnt matter. my vlsd was originally from an abs equipped 240sx, and i have no problems running it on my non-absed 240.

tru dat. Same here, but if you're still worried about it the abs sensor will be attached to the diff. Good luck finding a non-abs vlsd.

Just thought I'd add a 3rd... I have an ABS S13 vlsd in my non-ABS S14, and it works fine.

If its an ABS equipt diff...itll have a sensor plugged in the diff. If you have a non-abs car...just put the wiring out of the way or you can snip it if you know your never gonna re-sell it or anything. Oh yah i forgot, theres a thing for S14s tho, youll need the drivershaft too if you have an ABS S14 VLSD into a S14 cuz the shaft is gonna end up either bein short or longer *cant remember which on the top of my head since im drunk*

No, even though the driveshaft is a little too long (the ABS driveshaft is shorter), you can still make it work, because its BARELY too long... it works though.

Really? I bought my diff from venus and ron said the same thing *being the shaft being longer* so he gave me the shaft and the damn axles...HOOK UP!!! =p

Heh, well I guess technically it's better to have the shaft, if its free :) but you can easily make it work either way.
