Hello guys, im new to this forum and i have learned many things here especially when working on my 240 coupe. Well i was wondering if you can hard wire a digital cluster?..... because i have a digital cluster it doesnt work or light up at all, and i really was considering of changing to analog but i wanted to try something first i have a busted analog cluster and i was thinking of removing the speedometer unit part of it and hard wiring it to the digital cluster but i dint know the wires to splice or tap into. the back of the speedometer unit has ign, s2, i believe , ground, and signal where if possible can i wire these to the unit.... no worries im cool with taking any advice thanks guys!!!.

From what i've been looking at the past couple of days i believe the timing control unit may be bad. Your cluster is wired directly to that box.
