Ive searched everywhere and even used zilvia search function but no luck finding the known SOLUTION ..
FYI my keybiard is broken so excuse the tyos
So heres my issue, my car will start with full retarded dizzy I;ll swap it one tooth over but I;ll have to set it to fully advanced for it to start as well... it;s like I need to be in the exact middle but I cant quite get it... What should I do??
ALSO I recently got a new TPS that I have yet to adjust to sPec would that affect my car this much?
Any help would be appreciated!!
I;ve tried 3 different dizzys and 2 different fuel rails with different injectors with no change in results..

I had the same issue, you have to set tps voltage and idle first. set the car to tdc, and try to stab the distributor so it aligns with #1 cylinder in the cap. You might have to turn it back a little since the gears are helical and will rotate forward when you stab it. Give it a try to this first and go from there.

Thanks for the input Sodel
I will go ahead and buy a multimeter today so I can set the TPS correctly..
Any other input is appreciated, this has been an issue that I've had before and even after I've swapped motors..
by the way I have a 95 s14 ka24de in my s13 chassis if that makes any difference...
motor was working perfectly in s14, didn't touch anything when swapping over other than swapping exhaust mani and distributor so I doubt any teeth have jumped.

Wait do you have an s13 distributor in a s14 ka?

Make sure the mechanical timing is right because I have had that problem before.

My question is how would the mech timing change by simply swapping from a perfectly running car??

Your lower chain is off man, I had the same issue...
Take off your dizzy cap..is your rotor pointing directly toward your number 1 spark plug? If you cant get it facing the #1 exact no matter what then your mechanical timing is off somewhere.
Here's an article I made on NICO like last year. Hope it helps you out.
Fix an incorrectly installed lower timing chain on a 240sx KA24DE (http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/incorrectly-installed-timing-chain.html)
I think that the "perfectly running car" you got the motor from was turned fully advanced to get it to close to 20BDTC..probably ran on 17-18 and seemed normal. Check your mechanical timing.

Ding ding ding! Did you ever take the head off of the car? Timing chains? Anything besides the dizzy that would cause the lower or upper chain to move a tooth? I had this problem a couple months ago when I put in a new oil pump. The lower chain was a tooth off and it NEVER ran right, either a lil too advanced or a lil to retarded. I pulled my motor and fixed it, didn't have the problem again. If you are POSITIVE it isn't this try flipping your dizzy 180* and re drop it.
