transmission issues

so i have an 89 240sx (ka24e) and the transmission is shot. and my buddy gave his transmission from his swap. But his trans came off of a ka24de, and im not actually sure if there was differences in bolt up patterns or anything that would throw it off, or if it bolts right up? any help is much appreciated.

Any ka transmission bolts up to any ka motor. Im currently running an s13 motor with an s14 transmission. I had the same question 3 days ago:) if its an s14 transmission their are just a few plugs not needed.
