ok question for you guys those that know, I just installed my B&M line lock
1 line is to a chassis ground then
12V from fuse box goes to push button switch then to "active" light then to the Silenoid.
question i have is do i splice from the 12V after the the button/light to go to the EMS?
I cant send a 12V signal to the ECU can i when the button is pressed?
or i can i route the ground wire to the EMS instead of the chassis to a "switched Ground" input
thing is when i hit the button can the EMS "ground" the line lock if i use it to ground it?
this is a 6601 series 2 on a Sr20det

So what are you trying to accomplish? I'm not really following the question. You want the anti-lag only when the line lock is on?

I know on my Haltech there are a set of parameters to activate the anti-lag like minimum speed and minimum rpm, can't you just do the same on your AEM? I don't see why you need a switch for the anti-lag.

yes only when the line lock is activated, reason i dont go by a MPH is because i have a Z32 trans so i dont have a speed signal to feed off of

Can't you just wire up the 12v for the line lock to an input on the ECU also and set that as the signal to activate the anti-lag? I guess I'm still missing what the issue is.

That's what I'm asking the 12v signal I have going back to the sileniod will be spliced to a input signal or should/can I send the ground to a "ground switch " output

Option one of the two you listed would be how I would do it.
Use the positive line (from the side after the switch obviously) and wire it to a voltage input.
That's how I'd do it on my Haltech at least, I doubt it's much different for the AEM.

That's what I figured so the 12v are ok to be sent to the ecu?

That would be ECU specific so you may want to consult your manual or call AEM.

On my Haltech, it allows a max of 5v for the on voltage (in that screenshot I posted) but I think that just means so long as the voltage is over 5v it will turn on. So I can send it a 12v signal and that will be fine. I mean, pretty much everything in a car is 12v so idk why they wouldn't support 12v inputs.

You could always wire in a 5v voltage regulator if you wanna play it safe.

Was thinking about the ground signal but then it will need something else to complete the circuit to tell it to stop so I have to run a live wire to it
