Alright so after searching for 2 hours i came up with a few possibilities on why My new sr20det swap isn't turning over at all.

I relocated the battery to the hatch, ground may or may not be grounded right but all my interior stuff works, along with my blinkers, hazards lights..etc

I hooked up ground coming from intake manifold to chassy...grounded it to where the ka reservoir screwed in on the shock tower.

Are those the only 2 grounds i need?

When i turn the key i can hear a tick or 2, so I'm thinking i don't have a ground right.
I have a brand new red top battery so i don't think it's that.

The only thing i could find when searching was, grounds not right, clutch safety button not pished down when clutch is (will check tomorrow) and starter ground (not sure where that is)

Any help is appreciated.

Since you checked your grounds already check and see if you have power at the starter. Then check to see if you have power at the starter signal wire when you turn the key. If you have both of those most likely your starter is shot or stuck from sitting.

It is the skinnier of the two wires that connect to your starter

Also what gauge wire are you using for the positive side? must be at least 4ga, although anything larger is better.

Ah okay, now that i think about it...that might be the problem because i honestly only remember connecting the terminal thing to the starter....

For the new battery/relocation? It was 4gauge.

the issue was the little ground prong on the starter wasn't plugged in! Thanks guys!

Unfortunately now it cranks but doesn't start.....theres fuel pressure and I'll be checking spark tomorrow... I searched about grounds and i found there were supposed to be 3?
Intake manifold to chassy, head to firewall, and battery to chassy?
