anyone ever do this before? Looks straightforward obviously but i dont imagine it would be too easy given its probably like welded to the manifold by now....How do you take nasty bolts off like that anyhow??

well its 7/8 ussally either find a friend with a o2 sensor socket, or use a 7/8 combo wrench, and loosen, if its hard, try a hammer. and when ya finally get it off, make sure to pick up a little packet of anti seize from your local parts store, and apply it to the threads, so it doesnt "weld" itself in there. oh and dont spend the money on the bosch sensor with the plug, get the bosch universal one cuz its only a spade plug. its half the price too. and dont waste your money at the dealer, cuz its prolly just a bosch anyways

yea...whats this about a plug on the end...do i have to splice the wire or some darn thing if I just get an econo-sensor (i think its made by "standard")

maybe ill just wait till I put in my header so i dont have to take the old O2 sensor out

You can go rent a o2 socket from autozone, they also sell oem replacement sensors that do not require you to splice they are only like $30. I just changed mine and it only took me like 10 min.
