Mine actually happend 2 days ago on a on ramp to 495 in Tysons corner, VA. Stupid as I was, took the on ramp at 75mph at 3:15 p.m. As I rouded close to the bottom, tires were smokin and squeeling decided to let off a bit. Then as I am about to merge I slide of the road onto the dirt going slideways through the grass...do a 720 almost hit the wall...and then end up facing oncoming traffic going 80mph. It was all a blurr until about a mile down the road until I realized what happend.

Few time also I almost got blasted by stupid people running reds. Not as scary as that though.

Two years ago, it was the first time driving in the rain with the S14. I swung the rearend all the way out making a left turn, scared the living crap out of me. Now I'm used to the car I try to do it more often heheh.

the same to me too when i frist got my 240 and making a left turn while it was rainning spun out and almost hit the curb tat was my scariest moment after that i became more careful while it is rainning...

Well last christmas I was trying to be super cool drift dude. I got my car full sideways and it got the best of me. I slide right into a curb that threw my car a foot in the air and into a pole.
From that point I learned to keep it off the streets and/or parking lots.

hmm, prolly when i almost ran off a big ass cliff when running the canyons at night, having the front tires hangin off the edge, and tellin my buddies to jump in my trunk to get me some traction so i could back up. :D

For me,...really hard to say...it's a toss up between jumping a curb in broad daylight in front of a college because of a fucked up drift, or driving from Sac to Modesto in pouring rain with bald tires and really bad camber. (Literally sideways most of the way home)

Well, let's see, it rained the previous day, me and my friends went to a local canyon. Had some snap oversteer issue pulled a 180 in a narrow 90 degree turn. I didn't hit anything, amazingly... later i found out it was because my front sway bar was lose... GENIUS! BRILLIANT!

Oh, and there's this other time that i understerred and hit the mountain itself... thus the story of my silvia front....

Probably... almost understeering through a narrow break in the guardrails that was JUST wide enough for a car to drive through... but thankfully, fronts regained traction before I got that far, and I cleared the corner with little more than a ridiculously high pulse.

Oh, and there's this other time that i understerred and hit the mountain itself... thus the story of my silvia front....LOL :Owned: By a large, random metal barrel in the middle of nowhere!! Those were some good times, mang!! What have you been up to, anyway? How's the car? Where've you been??

hah wow lots of rain stories...

so i was test driving the car from a ghetto dealership. it was raining and i actually didn't bother to look at the tires... coming downhill making a left at a light. i didn't even try to take the turn fast (being wary of rwd as it literally was my first time). well 3rd gear came down, throttled off in the middle of the turn and did a 90 degree spin to slide-stop. i was perpendicular to traffic. the funny thing is traffic just drove around me like nothing had happened... i mean people didn't even stare or anything. it was bizarre. so when we got back i noticed the rear tires were basically bald while the fronts were worn but okay. i guess the previous owner was a noob drifter? well i ended up buying the car anyway and have since learned alot about the dos and donts of RWD... luckily not the hard way.

Lowes Motorspeedway..

I was going from turn 5 in the infield on to the banking exiting turn 1 on the Oval.. (important to understand that the Oval is seperated from the infields by a large concrete wall. The infield is only connected to the main track when the huge fence in the wall is open. the concrete walls literally end at the edge of the pavement.. NO runoff)

Down hill increasing radius left hander.. was sliding just a little, feathering the throttle, got on the gas just a little too much.. rear tire dropped off the pavement , car went sideways.. I over corrected, ass swings around the complete wrong direction, over corrected again.. this time to slide sideways b/w the concrete walls that are on each side of the track, my bumper literaly inches from one of the walls. Slide safely through the walls, hit the 28 degree banking **BAM** I finally let out of the gas b/c I'm heading full steam into the big concrete wall that surrounds the main Oval.. clutch, and brakes.. I come to a stop after doing a 360 on the oval, and end up pointing back down the track in the direction I just came..

Now if that isn't enough.. I do 2 more moderately paced laps.. long story short.. I get back to the paddock and check my suspension.. The left rear strut is BARELY still connected to the upright. The nut, and washer that hold it on are long gone. only thing holding it on was the weight of the car.

I had 4 different racers, and 3 instructors congradulate me on the most spectacular save they had ever seen.

I seriously think I have a guardian angel, cause I don't think I had anything to do with it.

6 years ago I was showing off in front of my brother and he said get away from the curve. I didn't listen and I hit the curve pretty hard and popped 3 of the tires.

I had a freaking pigeon flew in my car when I was driving once, there was feathers everywhere. I was so glad nothing happened (no cars around), it was a minivan so the damn thing just flew to the back. I let that little flying rat out, cussing all the way home.

a lot of rain stories indeed,...
once again, it was raining, and it was quite a while ago, i've made a right a little to quick, oversteered, lost control and stalled right before i hit the curb, scared the crap out of me.
another time i was going thru 18? some small road near big bear during winter (somewhat icy, but mostly dry), during daylight, wasn't canyon running, just passing thru going 15mph like a grandma, and on 1 section of the road while i was slowing down (from 15 to 10, light brake) and next thing i knew, spin city, scared the crap out of me again..
and yet another time, running canyons with couple friends, understeered and braked just in time before hitting the gaurd rail, literally inches, wasn't too bad because I saw that one coming

i was on a friends road which is closed to the public :) but it was my first time on the road and i was trying to keep up with him. i hit a turn that i was all set up for but instead it went the other direction, this happened at 105-110mph

so i hit brakes once and hard to get the mass to swing the other way and ended up sliding/drifting sideways perfectly until i hit the gravel on the side of the road...i spun once and went into a ditch backwards, if i was going sideways when i went off the road i would have flipped/rolled multiple times...

i drove out of the ditch and looked at the car, and nothing was broken, nothing, i was soooo dam lucky...

hmmm....well today a semi-truck also ran over me switching to get onto the HOV (from Woodbridge)...all I could see is HUGE ass trailer on one side and guardrail on the other. Freaked me out, but lucky I stopped in time.

About a week ago...it was late at night and some guy was driving on the wrong lane....literally..his ass was headed straight...for me. All I saw was headlights coming right at me and I pulled off to side of the road...freaky shit.

Last Friday...I was going down a backroad and I was coming to a sharp turn faster than expected. Most of the time I can take it...but this time there was water and sand on the turn...next thing I know my car is fishtailing like a mofo...mind you that one side I have the side of a hill and the other...a mini cliff down a hill.

Then the light turned green and I saw abunch of headlights coming straight at me. I hit reverse and sped backwards into quick trip almost hitting another car

After only having driven for a few weeks, the first time the rear came out going around a slow turn from a stop light.. entirely stock car with mis-matched all-season tires on it. Surprisingly there were no cars at the intersection, so i was able to use the oncoming traffic lane to toss the car back and forth into.. yay
