Soo i put in a stage 2 exedy clutch disc and a f1 flywheel in april, after i replaced my clutch and flywheel my clutch has not slipped not even once. i babied the fuck out of it and broke it in correctly. soo about a week ago i drove to the liquor store and my clutch fork pivot ball snapped so i drove it to a shop clutchless to get it fixed drove fine considering no clutch, no slips or grinds. they replaced the pivot ball with the trani still inside the car but couldnt get the fork on through the hole so they dropped it and popped the fork on and changed the slave bleed it and told me it was good to go. they drove it and dipped it down the street brought it back and said im good to go. i get in the car and put in in reverse and my clutch ingages right at the very tip top and i could barely take off i turned around and showed them they bled it some more and than said its fine but honestly i think they just wanted to go home. i replaced my master cylinder and bled it again and now my pedal feels great its not all sticky but its still engages right at the top like if the clutch was worn like 90%.

i think it might be my pressure plate or throwout bearing but what do you guys think?

my clutch does engage a little mroe towards the end of the pedal. If you just changed the disc and not the pressure plate, that might be it who knows.

so they DID drop the trans, right? damn how expensive was that? i hope they used the correct pivot ball, some are longer/shorter than others.
maybe adjusting your clutch pedal might help. this is for a z32. read it and then try it.

Forgot to mention after I left the shop my clutch was slipping really bad and it was fine before. I adjusted the pedal when I replaced the master the pedal is feelin great I just don't get how my clutch started slipping cuz its slippin bad and was perfectly fine before. I watch them the whole time they didn't even touch the clutch and pressure plate. And I found out yesterday when they replaced the clutch the plate was also replaced. And it cost me like 250 for the labor. The new pivot ball is the nismo one which is twice as stong as oem Nissan one that broke

look, we told you your problem, its the pedal adjustment, if the clutch engages high your pedal isn't adjusted correctly. we told you the answer to your problem if it's not what you want to hear then i don't know what to tell you. what i can tell you is that if you keep slipping your clutch like that you WILL need a new clutch soon. so adjust your shit, and stop crying.

you adjusted it previously, but when you alter the system you have to adjust it again.

The slave doesn't retract fully it sits In the middle. So when my foots not on the pedal the slave is at it's halfway point. It's not my pedal adjustment or master. My slave is rebuilt not brand new. Took the spring out of the slave and it's a lot better but it still won't retract fully when I let off the pedal. With the slave off I push the pin in all the way and it pushes itself back the the middle. I took it to garage life in la

i kinda had a similar problem with my z32 slave. so i bought a new one, non oem one, which did not fix it. so i bought the oem rebuild kit. which worked, i think. i cant remember. and the car is having other problems anyways

I could have taken time out of ny life to explain why the slave doesn't retract all the way, but instead I will just say good luck with that and hope you figure out the problem before your clutch is fucked. If you ever need help with anything please don't contact me. There is a forum member here thY goes by rboerformance he does superb work and will take care of your car very well lol
