Before I go about tapping the turbo for a wastegate vacuum source, I want to be sure that I'm doing it in the best possible location. From what I've been told, it is best to tap it as close to the source as possible. My question is, there seems to be 3 areas where I can tap the turbo. For me it seems to be between the top one or the bottom left one in the picture below. I can make either work, which one would be a better source? The turbo is an Isis T25/T28.

Tap it on the piping...
You mean the hotpipe? I already have a tapped hotpipe, I'd rather tap it closer to the source of the boost. Or do you mean the compressor outlet?

The bottom right is where mine is tapped.

I can't believe people are buying those things!
Anyway,.... any off those casting nubs can be used for Waste gate boost sources, not vacuum as you stated.
Base it on orientation, clocking and whatnot!!

Heres a pic. Its tapped right before the coupler to the hot pipe. Not sure if its the best spot but thats where it came on this turbo so I assume good to go.
