Is this proper coolant flow through the motor or is my water pump losing its man power?

I just swapped this motor in and have not had issues like this with my gauge until now.

Bleeding these systems of air is rather simple and I know I have done that properly but its still pegging full hot within about 5 min of run time.

Before I installed the motor I ran a hose into it to make sure it had proper flow in and out of the engine.

Headgasket is fine it is not producing any air bubbles into the coolant system.

I'm not sure if that flow of water of correct. Have you checked the thermostat? I'm in Indy as well and have a spare water pump for your motor. Let me know what you find out with the thermostat - you can heat up some water on the stove to see if it is opening like it should. If you really need to try out my pump let me know.

is it actually overheating or is your gauge off? did you change out the s13 sending unit to the s14 one on the coolant neck next to the cts for the ecu?

Check with infrared gun

If you were smart it should be a new pump and thermostat

Basic swap mean replacing parts you have no history with. Flow does not look great but I don't know if the radiator is full

If you need a pump get the s14 one bolts on a little better flow

If you need a new thermostat go for ka24 out of the same year car if you need to replace temp sensors for ecu or gauge use oem ka24 e or de

Do not waste money on nismo Mishimottoo or any other brand . Go oem temp at $12.00 a pop from vatozone
