NorCal D1GP Caravan Final Information

What & Why: Driving by yourself is boring. Driving 500 miles plus in a straight line is boring. So lets make it fun by driving together! Yay! :P

When: Friday, February 27th, 2004
5:00PM on the dot (that means dont be late, I wont wait)

Where: In and Out Burger
641 Leavesly Road
Gilroy, CA 95020

The In-n-Out is located just off 101 and near whatever that stupid
freeway is that leads to I-5.

Other info:
We'll probably stay at some ghetto motel near some stripclubs. (fun!) If not, please make arrangements and find a nearby motel/hotel beforehand. Or just sleep in your car, whatever works.

FRISCO/NEARBY AREA PEEPS: Meet up at City College of San Francisco @ 3PM (in the back of the 1st resevoir) to make the drive down to Gilroy. I won't wait past 3:15PM at most.

D1GP is in Irwindale, California.

This is the 2nd D1 event in the States. The first was an exhibition that didnt count, this one is a REAL competition round for the 2004 season.

Presells for tickets are over, and you can only get them at the door for $30. Although who knows how many are left, they can only seat a little over 8,000 and they sold the last one out...

We'll probably be coming back on sunday but I do want to go to AUTOBACS, so it may not be until the evening. :)

Also, if any of you have 2-way radios please bring them.. makes it easier to coordinate/find stragglers/goofoff/etc.

I was lookin at the days inn in duarte right down the street from the comfort inn. $117 for 2 days for 2ppl, 2 queen beds. That way only one person has to do the floor thing. ;)

My girlfriend can't go anymore and my car isn't working, and I'd rather not borrow her car for the weekend. Since she can't go, that also means I have extra space in the room I already reserved.
