problems with b&m short shifter?

just ordered a b/m short shift kit for the s14...one of my buddies who has the kit for his integra said b&m kits are notorious for rattling, said he's heard he's not the only one with the problem...anyone else have this problem?

--btw...who else makes a short shift kit for the 240 (ka24)?

SEARCH!!!!!!!! The older models rattled more but they've pretty much fixed it on the newer ones. It will only rattle in the higher RPM's though. The B&M is probably the BEST shifter you can get. Look in the reviews and use the search and you'll find a lot of topics on shifters.

Even the new model rattles from what I have heard. I have the old model and its not bad at all. The feel is worth the noise.

yes, it will rattle. its still the best... Ive compared my B&M to a C's shifter, to a stock one, back to back to back. All 3 of us agreed the B&M the best.

Remove the stupid cone weight thing from it, thats supposed to help.
