READ THIS ENTIRE THREAD I'M HEART BROKEN DOING THIS </3

PS-WILL NOT SHIP UNLESS BUYER WANTS IT BAD ENOUGH

This is a feeler thread to get the engine out there for people who are looking for a BAMF status full turn key, damn near fully built SR20DET in the very near future. I have EVERY and i mean EVERY receipt for every part, and every minute of labor performed on this car. Buyer will be receiving all receipts. Mainly for insurance and accountability purposes. Trust me they come in handy if parts get stolen.

Let me specify full turn key swap. Here's what you get-

S13 SR20DET
5-speed transmission
S13 SR to S14 wiring harness (redone 2 years ago, recently redid the injector harness to run under the manifold instead of over)
S13 SR20 Apexi PowerFC D-Jetro w/commander tuned for dailying, do NOT get on it over 7psi. And rev limiter is set to 6000 for safe measure.
Apexi AVCR (black edition installed last month)
Driveshaft shop solid steel driveshaft (unfortunately ABS model so if you don't have ABS, let me know)

Literally everything you need to hook this sucker up and go.

Now, the bad. Let me explain the situation with the bottom end right now.

I drove it for 30 miles to break in the new bottom end and new clutch/flyhweel over to the dyno. Ended up just doing a base tune for daily driving (very glad we did) and drove it another 30 miles back to the shop to change the break in oil.

When we changed the oil there was a slight bit of water/coolant in the oil and the valve cover was really muggy and humid inside. Changed the oil and drove another 50 miles and checked the radiator level and oil. Radiator was low, I filled it back up and I thought the brown liquid swirling up was oil BUT the mechanic said he uses Toyota fluid which is red. And red+green=brown. So yea, there is NO oil in the radiator, that just caught me off guard. The oil got a little worse and the oil cap has looking pretty nasty. The radiator was low because of a small leak that we didn't notice.

EDIT-----Mechanic has been looking at the engine and talking with Darton and the machine shop owner. Darton themselves knew who the machine shop was, and they said hes solid for sure. Both Darton and the machine shop assured him that it is the Apexi headgasket. They both said Apexi has been known to fail with sleeved SR20s and that i should have used Cosworth. They should really put that on their sleeve description when purchasing...

Anyways, the sleeves are not 100% ruled out but the situation is heavily leaning towards this head gasket. Which is going to be very good news. :D

NO, I AM NOT SELLING YOU AN ENGINE WITH BAD SLEEVES/HEADGASKET. I AM NOT SELLING THIS ENGINE UNTIL IT IS FIXED 100% WITH SOLID COMPRESSION AND A SOLID LEAK DOWN. I WILL NOT SELL AS IS EITHER, SO DO NOT ASK. I WILL NOT PART OUT

Now for the good stuff. Whats inside this beast. All you need for this car to be 100% fully built is springs and cams. I had S3 cams and tomei springs on standby but ive already sold them. I will specify what is brand new and what isn't. What is new has 110 miles on it. What isn't i will specify.

Bottom end-
Block has been decked and soda blasted, looks brand new
Darton Iron sleeves
CP 87MM 8.5:1 pistons w/top and side high temp coating (new) Top ring .020 second ring .23, so you have room to get really serious with some power.
Eagle H rods (6000 miles but were recently balanced for this build, they look brand new good for 800hp, also came with ARP bolts)
OEM SR20 crank polished/balanced for this build, miles unknown
Clevite main/rod bearings (new)
OEM Nissan thrust bearings (new)
OEM Water and oil pump (new)
Oem seals (new)
ARP Main/Head studs (new)

Top end-
JWT Bronze valve guides (new)
Tomei RAS (new)
Brian Crower +1mm valves (new) and that +1mm seriously makes a difference
OEM Valve stem seals and stem locks (new)
Apexi Metal HG .8 thickness (new)
Stock cams, springs and retainers (mileage unknown) no scratches, chips etc on cams.

Fuel-
Nismo 740cc sidefeeds (cleaned and flowbtested before install at the dyno)
Circuit Sports fuel rail (doesnt leak SHOCKING)
Circuit sports FPR
Will come with fuel lines

Transmission-
Stock tranny, no grinds was auto SR at first now manual works like a charm
Competition stage 4 sprung clutch (new)
XACT Streetlite flywheel 12.5lbs iirc (new)
New throwout bearing a pilot bushing
This clutch set up feels amazing. It feels nicer than my last Exedy Hypersingle and it holds 500+tq.

Performance goodies-
SplitFire coilpacks (new)
NGK BKRE7 plugs (new)
GT2871r .64 with internal flange welded shut by GT Factory, solid work (less than 3000 miles)
Steel braided inlet/outlet turbo lines
S15 oil drain tube
S15 exhaust manifold
7-layer exhaust manifold gasket
all new metal gaskets
Tial 38mm V-band wastegate (about 500 miles, 13.10 PSI springs inside) has dump tube fabbed up no mods needed and dear God it is glorious when it opens up
PBM Flex cobra downpipe (1500ish miles)
PBM HMIC kit w/GReddy type s bov on TB side (new)
Custom intake pipe with spectre filter...blah
ISIS Polished intake manifold (oh no not isis!!)
GReddy lightweight pulleys (over 1,000,000,000 rotations on them)
Catch can set up, baffled really well on the inside. I suggest mounting it on the driver side to shorten the length of the hoses. Oh and replacing the hoses, those are coolant hoses. They will trap oil and get super nasty in there.
Every single gasket is brand new.
I swear there is more, going to have to go get the binder full of receipts to verify. My head hurts....O.o
As far as we know, the pistons and the rest of the rotating assembly is still perfect and in great shape.

I'm selling because it's time to go 1JZ.

Price-$8000 obo.

OMG EIGHT THOUSAND?!?!?!!? HES CRAZY.

Well when you have over $10,000 of labor and parts in receipts you get a little crazy ;) If you have ANY questions or concerns about the build please feel free to PM me or get a hold of the builder. His email is [email protected] If you have bitches, gripes or complaints please, put them in here so the thread gets bumped :) thanks
