Hey guys so I own an S13 SR20det that has a problem. The car runs fine until I hit a bump and suddenly the car will die. But I have checked all wiring and found no issue in that. The car instead suddenly stops getting fuel to the cylinders. all four spark plugs are dry. I run 94octane with an octane booster. stock injectors and fuel rail. I have fuel from the line connecting to the Fuel filter to the rail and I can hear the injectors are all working. but it happens once in a while and I can push start the car. I just dont want to upgrade the entire system to find out that I didn't solve the issue. what would cause a sudden loss of fuel delivery? Fuel Rail, Injectors, Fuel Pressure Regulator? A wire I missed. Any ideas would help.

Stock fuel pump? Sounds like loose pump or pump connections. Dangerous

Fuel Pump and all the lines from the tank to the pump and to the filter are all fine that was what I initially thought as well. Replaced the fuel filter and the lines from the filter to the fuel rail.

Well its something with the pump or its wiring, because you hit a bump and your fuel cuts out. Check grounds and the ecu connection, fuel relay and fuses too.

But if its the pump why am I getting fuel at the right amount of pressure and hear it prime as well? all connections seem fine unless I am missing a vital ground somewhere. And its never a constant problem. A road by my house is full of bumps and as long as I am in neutral the car wont miss a beat. but around 4000RPM it 25% of the time will cut out
