I have google searched and scanned stickies and did a forum search and still couldnt find factory recommended oil. My car is stock 7psi s14 sr motor that is just street driven and not tracked or drifted. I already found a few oil filter options but not sure what oil weight to go with. Im just going to run mobil or castrol. Any help on what nissan called for?

Im sorry im on my smart phone today and cant download my factory service manual. And it ticks me off that 9 out of 10 threads i find when o google search are forums with people who post things like "use the search function" or something like that rather than answering a simple question. I understand some people are lazy but whats the point of a forum if all it is is people shewing people away unless they have some intelligent or new topic that doesnt exist. That is why forums are lame now.
Just saying

Shit gets old when you see the same thread and repeat the same thing 500 times. No shit though this is the 10th Oil Preference thread.

lol the secret book of info is called the FSM. It hold all the answers for OEM related questions.

we try to discourage Spoon Feeding to you children in hope you ya'll to stop posting stupid ass questions every 2 hours like "What spark plugs do I use" or "What kind of oil do I use".

Excuse me for that. Now why do you reccomend 15-50 for those who graciously posted? I dont undetstand oil weights or the logic? I assume 15-50 is heavier and protect better but affect gas mileage? I live in missouri and have hot summers and cold winters.

Thanks again

I understand and i did search, i read a lot of 15-50 reccomendations but didnt know what nissan recommends. Besides it is just ad annoying for us to see jerk and imapatient remarks thread after thread. I dont mind a humble rebuke but arrogance ticks me off if you know what i mean.

Turbo charged engines usually run hotter than NA engines due to the turbo compressed air. Hotter the engine, thinner the oil gets. Too thin of an oil, you might as well run water in the engine. You track the car, it runs even hotter.

Run what the fuxk ever u want man. Go with a legit brand and full synthetic. 10w40 15w50 5w30 it doesn't matter it will still run fine

Hell u could even put Dino shit in and it'll run
