doing s13 into s14 need fast response!!!

hi im doing a s13 sr into s14 and i was taking the ka harness out but there is one bunch of wires that seperates from the main harness to this black plastic box with a white line. I understand that there is a bunch of wires from the harness you are supposed to cut. Are these the wires?

are u talkin about goin onto the fuse box??

i think the white wire u are describing is the alternator...or starter...and no...dont cut those

:aw: That little black box happens to be the plug where the engine harness meets up with the dash harness where things like the speedo, tack and multiple other things go to the gauges as well as the ignition switch. The little white stripe you are talking about is a lock for the plug. it is hinged at the chassis side of the plug and if you push it to the other side it will unlock and you can remove the plug. By the way you probably should not cut those wires until you have an accurate pin out diagram for that plug.

:hyper: :hyper: DO NOT i repeat DO NOT :hyper: :hyper: ut those wires, at least not yet , it will save you valuable time later, what you need to do is seperate all the wires that come out of that plug from the rest of the harness, once it is seperated you will see that some go in to the compute and some go in to the engine bay , to various plugs like CC, windshield wiper motor, windshield wipe amplifier etc. if you cut those now later you will have to spend time reconrecting them....just cut the leads that go in to the computer off, and cut the ones that dontt go into the CC, windshiled wiper motor, and windshield wiper amplifier and youll save a lot of time.

by the way cc is cruise control and when you cut wires dont cut them right at the plug give yourself 6 inches at least in case you make a mistake....
