Mazworx built bottom end and SR20VE head swap. For as much money you'd spend on the head, you might as well get VE heads.

well I already have the motor I'm gonnna ship it to the US for services. What's a VE head? And does Mazworx have a website where I can contact them? Is the VE head better than the SR20DET head? Sorry for all the noob questions...

Mazworx - Home of the World's Most Powerful SR20s. From engine work to chassis to even full turn-key racecars, we can do it. Even though we specialize in Drag Racing Nissans and the SR20, our capabilities are broad. (http://www.mazworx.com)
Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=sr20ve+head+conversion)

SR20VE engine head, its last version of the SR20DE but with better heads that are designed to rev and fixed the shitty HLA/rocker arms on the original engines.

Sr20ve is a fwd motor. Stonger and better flowing more suited for higher horsepower/high rev limit (ie: to the fuckin moon). Due to it's fwd origins you need a custom intake manifold and cas relocate among other things. Expensive but worth it if high numbers and insane limiter are your goals
Can't find the fuckin build thread but here's a parts list/pics link

I have heard a lot of great things about the VE and I think it's a great way to go but on a budget you can do a lot with a little porting and polishing on the base high port SR head too.

I would recommend Jim Stewart of Stewart Engines out of Indianapolis, IN. He built my SR20DET and I'm very happy with it. The car made 393.4whp at 18.5psi on a Precision 2871r (.86). This was on 91 octane. That is good power for that turbo and it is because he knows what he is doing as well as the shop that tuned it - Ill Garage. There is a video of it on the dyno that Ill Garage uploaded if you want to take a look at it.

If i wanted to rebuild the motor myself, would i be able to do so without having to balance the motor? if so can you direct me on how to rebuild the motor or a link that tells me how to do so, i wanna rebuild it with a decent setup for 500hp+/-

Its highly advised to balance the engine. espcially with new internals with different weights.
building an engine is more of a hands on learning experiance.
the SR20 FSM tells you how to rebuild the SR
