ok.. so this will sound stupid.. but how do you open the doors then? do you install a kit to have them pop open?
twitchy

yeah they sell a kit...some cables and a solenoid thinghy and you use a remote to make the doors pop open, not all the way but just past the catch so you can stick your hand in and pull them open...check out www.mypushcart.com
more on this tomorrow....ive been mixing drinks for 8 hours and im pooped! night
shaving door handles = stupidity, what happens when the solenoid goes bad?
plus there is no point in shaving door handles anyways
anyways...black180sx cant wait to see your work when its done, will there be a aero kit to accomidate the new paint job? and are you painting it your self or having someone else do it?

thanks

I hate shaved door handles. Every car I see with shave door handles no matter if it's a supra or whatever, that automatically turns me off. Although it may have a clean look to them, but imo, it makes the car look gay.

i agree with dousan, no 3rd brake light is the sex.
shaving wiper, spoiler, emblems and plate holes looks hot
shaving anythig else is wrong :squint:

i had to do alot of body work when i did my car... a guy i know did the paint and body stuff, i had to take almost everything off besides the motor. It pretty nice when u have to pull the trans just to change the damn clutch fork, come on u engineers, make it easier to work on cars/replace parts.

Some of you older members might remeber the pictures... black sucks as body work and paint have to be perfect, also you should take a surplus of pictures, i wish i would have taken more...too late for that, maybe for the next paint job, i just dont like black that much anymore, for those of you wanting to do your own body work. It is alot of work, and alot of sanding. It takes along time to be able to do nice body/paint jobs. your paint job will only be as good as the body work under it. SAND SAND SAND. I guess it all depends how picky you are. I would suggest doing body work on something you really dont care about, learn with that, maybe have someone with alot of experience help you, but dont let them do all the work, you will never learn...Im sure alot of you have had the friend that was like "will you help me do such and such" your "help" is doing everything for them, and in return they learned nothing. So just a heads up, mistakes will cost you money. Supplys can get expensive.
edit* ha, you should have seen me driving it down the road to the guys shop, 4 donuts, half the glass out, no bumpers, no lights, etc, when i pulled up, man he was laffin.
