Alright, I am doing a AT/MT swap but I want to get the clutch damper out of the way so im going to get the stainless steel cable to bypass the box, Now I searched and found the site that sells them, but I seem to remember a while back, people used the cable for a supra or rx7 or some car, but is that because they didnt have one out for the 240 at the time, because I know they do now, but It doesnt say that the 240 cable is designed to remove the clutch box, so im guessing that the cable for the 240 is designed only to to inplace of the factory rubber line, and is not long enough to bypass the whole box, that is why they use a different cable from the supra or what ever it was, to bypass the box, Or am I wrong, Is it just that the time the article was written they didnt have one out for the 240. Can someone just let me know which one to use, I can search for that site again later, Thanks.

sorry I wasnt more specific, The reason im not goin to phase 2 is because it is like 40 bucks, k2rd is the site I was talking about, They have one for an s13, but is it long enough to bypass the clutch box, or is it just a replacement for the stock rubber line, I heard somewhere that people were using that rx7 line or something, my question is this becuase at the time of the writeup they didnt have a line for the 240 so they used another line for a different car, or is the one for the 240 long enough to remove the whole clutch box, Thanks
EDIT: I just clicked on the takamotorsports link, and it just confirmed my question, They sell a line for the 240 as a stock replacement, or a line to remove the box, its 10 bucks more than the k2rd one, but im not sure if the k2rd one is stock replacement or the one that removes the box, so if nobody knows here, Ill just have to order the one for 10 bucks more. not a big deal i guess, of course thatst 1 percent of the way to a decent intercooler,

When I ditched the stupid damper loop thing, I used a hardline bender and rerouted the hardline. I ended up using the stock rubber line to bypass the damper loop (meaning the same stock length), go look at you car and you'll know what I'm talking about. Why pay extra when you could just reroute the line? Just be careful bending them, they're easy to kinked. Simple eh?

You're welcome. Go check out Sears, they have this cheap $2 hardline bender if you don't have one already. Good luck.
