SOLD SOLD SOLD!

Alright, here's the scoop. I have an extra pair of Blitz Type 03 wheels, size 17x10 +45. I sold these to a friend, who went to have the tires mounted and found that one of them would not air up. There are no major bends in the wheels, so I believe the issue is either the valve stem, or the seal between the barrel and the lip.

My friend decided to move in another direction instead of having these repaired or refinished, so these are back up for sale. The wheels were spray painted black when I got them, so my friend stripped the black paint from the faces and repainted them silver to match their original finish. Center caps are included with both wheels and are in good condition.

There is some curb rash on the wheels, but overall they are not in bad shape. Again, one wheel does not hold air at the moment- but should be an easy fix. Here are some current pictures of the wheels:

WheelFlip does some awesome work with 03s. For around $800, you could have these two wheels relipped and rebarreled to end up with the specs of your choosing. Something like this...

I haven't seen any 03s up for sale since I got these a month or two ago, so they are for sure hard to come by these days- let alone in a 17x10 size. Take these to a wheels shop to have the one wheel resealed, and you could get away with running a spacer and using them as-is. For an additional $50, I can include these H&R 20mm hubcentric spacers:

I'd like to get $600 shipped OBO for the pair. TIRES ARE NOT INCLUDED. Please PM me with any questions or concerns. Thanks!

Damon

blitz 03s are pretty hard to come by. i'd say 600 for a pair so wide is a pretty fair price.

17x10 +45 is equivalent to a 17x9 +20 for you offset nerds. That is perfect size for s13 or s14 running average camber.

this is overwhelmingly tempting for drift spares. too bad they'd be about two inches sunk from what I have now. I might still hit you up about these though.

Thanks for the interest guys! I have had a decent amount of PMs, but no cash just yet.

People have been asking me about the condition of the lips. I have a few photos of when I got the wheels (before my friend repainted them) that my show the lips a little bit better. They for sure have some rash, but no huge bends or chunks missing that would cause major issues IMO.

The previous owner that had the wheels before me mentioned to me that the wheels had tires on them and held air when he dismounted them and sold them to me. Honestly, I believe him, but I am not sure what would cause this one to not hold air now. I am convinced that it is a simple fix. Unfortunately I can't tell you what the exact problem is, but it should not be very difficult to either figure out on your own, or have a wheel refinishing shop sort out. I'm guessing it is either an issue with the valve stem, or the seal between the pieces of the wheel.

wat

17x10 +45 is equivalent to 17x9 +33

except for the tire will sit in further

and you'll probably rub your coilover

Please explain your math, 1 inch = 25 mm. Also the tires on there right now are 215/40/17 s drives, if there was a fatter tire on this rim it may not have the same issue but at the moment it can't hold this stretch on one rim for whatever reason.

1inch being 25mm doesn't make the wheel equivalent to 9j+20. You can't just take away an inch from the inside and expect the outside distance to stay the same, because offset is from the center of the wheel. It's equal to a 9j+32. Find a wheel offset calculator and type those numbers in. These wheels will just give you 26mm less inner clearance compared to a 9j+32.

Tempting to buy though. If I wasn't planning on running 18's id pick these up regardless of offsetthe and just run a spacer.

Also the tires on there right now are 215/40/17 s drives, if there was a fatter tire on this rim it may not have the same issue but at the moment it can't hold this stretch on one rim for whatever reason.add an inch of width at the same offset, 12.7mm goes onto the outside and 12.7mm goes into the inside.

thus, at the same offset, the lip on a 10" wheel will poke 12.7mm further than the lip on a 9" wheel. so, to get the same amount of poke with a 9" wheel, you need 12.7mm less offset.

except, with the 9" wheel, the tread of the tire will be 12.7mm closer to the fender

and the 10" wheel will have the lip of the barrel 25.4mm closer to the coilover. I may be mistaken, but AFAIK a 17x10 +45 wheel will rub on nearly all coilovers on the front of a 240sx.

Ah I see, I wasn't splitting the 25mm in half... makes sense. I was going to run these with a spacer any how so I wasn't too worried about it.
