Does this look normal? I always thought the girdle were supposed to be flat. I finally took the damn engine out of the box, and the block has been sitting on the girdle inside the gorilla box.

Also, blocks been sitting for over a year now and I got rust building up around the block. Whats the best way to clean the block up, I got some build up too, inside the thermostat housing.

Pat, I know you had your wiring harness done but did you get the lower harness redone too? I remember you said you tried to do it yourself, what wiring diagram/guide were you using?

I was able to use the Stock Wiring Harness (if the S-Chassis came as a Manual stock or was already converted) You just have to unwrap the harness and stretch it 6 inchs.

All the Wiring diagrams and lower harness info i have/used are in my build thread. I'd link you to the page but you know these GOV PC's are slow as shit.
