heres the thing..i have a 93 240sx se coupe...i swapped the front seats and the seat belts so far...still need to do the rear seats...my thing is...now i have a gap like thing in my rear area when your feet goes when sitting in the back due to removing the s13 belt assembly...im wondering if s14 carpeting would fit without modifications..or if needed..what do you have to do?..also...as far as the manual seatbelts..can someone please send me pictures of the finished swap of a s13 with s14 seatbelts...reason im asking is because now i need to know where to drill on the panel area to make the seat belt buckle part come out and make it look clean?..someone please help me a guy out

My carpet (hatchback) has that bulge after removing the rear part of the lapbelt retractor. No one sits there...so it's not a big deal to me.
With the belts you have 2 options. You can try to find a longer shoulder bolt to mount the swivel/pulley on the outside of the panel (and drill a small hole into the plastic), or you can cut out a square chunk of plastic and let the belt swivel rotate flush with the panel. I was impatient and am doing the second option. I'm also building a custom metal frame for the opening I cut out to make it look slightly more finished.
My advice to you would be to take the shoulder bolt into a specialty bolt shop and see if they can find you something that is 1-1.25 inches longer.
