So I installed a Freddy intake, primed the fuel a few times, tried starting the car, then clunk, 2&3 cylinders were full of fuel and Iacv had fuel in it as well, so I cycled the fuel outa the cylinders and drain then iacv and oil since it has fuel in it.
Changed my injector orings and oil, car started up, drove it around the block, and it ran fine, although it did bog a lil bit when coming to a stop.
Next day I trailered it to my drift even, got a few good runs in the morning. My friend asked me for a ride to RadioShack for a resister for his injector, so I took him in with the SR, I did knotice after a few slides and getting it warmed up, I was idling at 2000, then it would got back to 900. On the way back from RadioShack I had a backfire and then the car ran like shit and finally died!
Same symptoms as before. So I got picked up and got my truck and trailer, towed the car back to the event, had a friend with more experience to check it out. He had me cycle the fuel out, then he pulled my fuel rail and primed it, no leaky injectors! Then he had me crank it, the injectors didn't have mist, they were showering fuel........
So what are your thought?
Bad TPS? I was at .30 close and 3 open, after adjustment now I'm .45 at close throttle and 4.15 at open throttle
Bad engine temp sensor? Car heated up just fine.... Didn't stay cold
Bad maf?? I cleaned it with maf cleaner...
So should I try to run it again or what? I don't wanna keep fucking up my motor
