I definitely wouldn't recommend buying a car from this clown. I went to buy a black s13 coupe from him last year. I drove all the way to Santa Monica, and because he must have had something more important going on during the agreed upon meeting time, I spent much of my day waiting. I blame myself, the kid didn't communicate well from the start, I should have seen it coming, but the car looked extremely clean in the pics and seemed to be a great deal. When the individual, (Jake was the name he gave) finally showed up we learned the car is actually in impound. I had spent half of my day in Santa Monica already, and felt moved by his sob story about wanting to be a singer and being broke so I agreed to bail out his car on the condition he make a deal if I liked the car. He agreed. The car itself was actually not bad, despite needing several oil leaks repaired. I test drove, inspected and we agreed on a price. I had cash in hand. Next, "Jake" pulls out the title and low and behold, it is in someone else's name. He agrees to go to the DMV first thing in the morning and get the paperwork handled. I confirmed with him several times the plan just to make sure. Needless to say the little child never gets back to me. I attempt for days to contact him in every way possible, including posting on his for sale thread. He gets lippy and disrespectfully hostile, as little kids tend to do, and needless to say I was out 100 something dollars. If you don't want the run around, I'd find another car. Plenty of fish in the sea. Luckily for this little tyke I am not too good with computers and couldn't figure out how to leave negative feedback at the time. I hope this saves a fellow zilvian a headache. Shop Smart ladies and gentleman!
