sounds like a horrible idea to have soft line in the fender well.

unless you upgraded to braided stainless....all cars with disc brakes have soft lines in the fender wells.....

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please no more of this tortures to 240's. Do it on your Honda or whatever your moms car is, but please. Right now about 80% of 240's are junker cars out there, but with this mod it's going hit all time high of 95%. We can't have majority population of 240's catching on fire/ starving of oil burning engines/ and being towed because people are looking at horrible guidance.

I spotted at least 20 things wrong in this video. For proper guide just google how to DIY engine oil cooler.

What are the 20 things? You know people are going to actually do this, so enlighten us. Who knows, this could actually turn into a useful thread, on Zilvia.

I don't wanna sit here educating you. Before you start modifying a car, do what me and many other builders do, read books, go to automotive school take courses about building race engines. Work in shops that don't just do repairs, but build and race cars. Study study study. Find useful stuff through google.
Ask yourself, would you take his advice? He drives car around block a few times, races a few kids. Who is he? He couldn't even catch that the filter didn't match the sandwich so he had to work on it again.

Thanks, I wasn't worried about installing it myself. I am not going to run an oil cooler, shit, I didn't even watch the whole video. I just wanted to see if someone would post some useful tips to make this thread worth a damn.

Are you serious ???? " the cheapest one i could find was 250 bucks " i got my oil cooler kit for 150 shipped..... it came with awesome thick steel braided lines, larger radiator for the oil and sandwich plate with thread adapters for different models .... and its good quality .... That radiator on this video is just a cheap line with heat sinks on it basically .... you want the oil to actually flow through the slots for the most effective cooling..
