Hey, I just purchased an autometer sport comp boost gauge: well heres the email that I sent the guy:
Hi I just purchased an autometer boost gauge from you on ebay, In the
directions for the gauge, it shows two setups, kind of like one manual
for two diferent gauges, well I have the hardware that is supposed to
be included with water and oil pressure gauges, I was supposed to
recieve the hardware for the boost gauge, which included a tee
connectore for the vacuum lines and an adapter of sorts

Thats pretty much what I sent him, Now he emailed me back and said the tee and the adapter for the tee to the guage line, are not included, but why would they send me parts for the fuel and oil ( I said water in the email my bad) pressure gauges and not for the gauge that I bought. can someone clear this up and if hes right, where would I get these parts, I know i could find the tee adapter at a hardware store but how bout the adapter from tee to nylon tubing, Thanks.

hey, He wants me to call him tomarrow morning so he can explain to me how its not supposed to come with the kit, Well maybe hes right but that is pointless to include hardware that you dont need but not the stuff you need, Id like to prove him wrong and get what i need so can anybody tell me before tomarrow, im sure someone out there has the sport comp boost gauge.

I believe all i got with mine was the gauge the metal adapter that screw onto the gauge and some tubing that connects to the metal adapter... no t-adapter to cut into the line, they may not send one because they assume that its replacing the stock gauge so some applications probaly don't require it.

alright, well what did you do to go from the tee to the line, Im sure I can find a tee but there is the adapter that goes from the tee adapter to the line,

Go to a local hardware store (or autozone or whatever you get in US), and look for
plastic T-connectors. Problem solved.

i know where to get the t-connectors as I said in like every post, its the adapter from the T to the nylon cable.

Its been years since i intalled it but I'm sure I just bought a rubber hose and some small clamps. Hoses that size are cheap just buy a few that look the right size and figure it out. Also most stores have connectors that can step a hose down a size.

alright, cool thanks guys. It just seems weird that in the directions they show two setups and include the parts for the wrong gauge, dont they know that some people like to turbo their N/A cars. which would mean that we dont have the T already, Oh well, thanks again.
