Have you ever tried searching? Someone posts a new topic about coilovers in this price range about 3 or 4 times a week.
Also, please don't go "street drifting." Just kill yourself before you hurt someone else you dipshit.

Both are good. I've been rocking Stance LX+'s for 2 years now with no issues A buddy just got some FA 500's and they're really nice, but don't go as low in the front as I was expecting. When his were maxed out, I still had about an inch and a half lower that I could go.

You guys are all idiots. Ebay > *, ebay all day errrrryday.
/sarcasm.
I have FA 500's with Swifts. Perfect for daily compared to regular 500's (which I also have along with the set with Swifts). PBM is really for those that want fucked up alignment specs with stock components. However with stock components, they ride just as well as my 500's (with Swifts) do. Didn't like that they came 10/8 stock though.

Looking at the higher end coilovers, what do you guys think the better option would be, Stance Pro Comps or Fortune Auto Dreadnaughts? I'm pretty sure the Pro Comps are cheaper.

I have Fortune Auto 500's on my S14, I love the damn things. Lots of room for adjustment. I daily them and have no complaints at all, and I drive in the Boston area (horrible roads). That and the fact that you can get a rebuild done within about a week and have them send you a temp set while they do it is amazing.

i am running the FA 510s with swifts on my s13. 7 and 9 spring rates with track valving. feels amazing on and off the track

fortune has better valving. they use digressive valving. they handle pumps a lot better.
stance dropped the price on the GR and GR pro because they have new valved coils. sport and super sport. XR are called pro comp or something.
Dreadnaughts for s-chassic are about 18 or 19 hundred. pro comps are above 2 G's.
i like to see how these new valved stances are.

I love my Fortunes 500's with a 10/8k rate. They're amazing for a daily and handle really well on the track. They're by far comfortable coils I've ever driven, and feel much more balanced and dialed in compared to some of the megans, and other mistakes i've owned. Just so you know, if you plan on going stupid low in the front or even trying to get specific fitment these are not the coils for you. You can flip the mounting bracket for another inch of drop, but you'll lose the majority of your camber adjustment and your suspension geometry and ride will feel like poop. You can never go wrong with Stance though, so either way you'll be satisfied.

Either one is fine. I've running stance gr + pros for the last 2 years and they have held up fine. I've personally dealt with stance customer service and they will do everything to make you happy.

You do know you could ask them to change the spring rates, right?
Also, if you could, try find some "local" guys (doesn't have to be 240sx) and try riding their cars on those specific coilovers. I tried out 240sx stance gr+ and thought it was good, but didn't felt planted compared to a Sentra that had dreadnoughts. After that, I was completely sold.
Also, I think there's like a 2 to 4 week leadtime with Fortune Autos.

For extra cash, yes, you can have your desired spring rates with PBM.
Fortune Auto off the bat asks you "what spring rates would you like" and boom, they get it for you whereas (PBM) you're stuck with 10/8 until you buy the 6 and manually swap them yourself. Or at least, that's how their services were explained to me.
For me-- I could very easily swap my springs, that's not a problem. But if you've got them offering what you want for no added price, how is that a pro?
I'm not knocking PBM because I've always given them high praise for their products. Matter of fact, if they didn't have that initial wait for their Pro coilovers, I would have bought myself a set as opposed to Fortune Auto.
And fwiw, my coilovers took about a week to get to my house from the day I initially ordered them. And that was delayed too.

Where'd you get that info?
If you can afford a LS1 swap into your pos vert, you can get other brand coilovers, "baller".

zoopreme your coils are sexy. (and +1 for juniper green!) Has anyone tried both the dreadnaughts and 500's with swifts? I cant decide if the dreadnaughts would just be overkill but they do come with swifts standard..

I would not know, I just figured the inverted pistons on dreadnought would better suit the endurance needed for me on track. Plus, I don't think you could get them "LOW" on dreadnaughts as you would with the 500's. One is street and other is track and I need the high rebound on the dreadnoughts. If you look at their dyno charts, the 500s look a lot more friendly to your kidneys than the dreadnoughts.

yeah, the dreads come with swift standard. fairly new coil so im not sure on how many heads have driven on them.
dread aren't over kill. they offer custom valving as they do with all coils.
I've scene the 500,510,and dread at a local drag event and they are quality pieces.
I've heard more negative reviews on stance then fortune but then again who knows if they actually setup their coils correctly. people think it's just slap on and play with the dampening.

+1 for FA w/Swift 9/7k springs
After putting 30+k miles on my Stance GR+Pros... the Fortune Auto's kill them. Hands down. They're just so much more comfy. The stances went on to a buddies car, and I cannot stand to ride in his car after getting out of mine.

Fortune Auto 500 ! They are in the US so it's easy to get a repair (IF) anything were to happen to them. Beats sending to Asia and waiting forever ! I personally have FA500's for dayling and they are superb; super comfortable ride! Fortune Autos customer service is by far one of the best I've experienced! I would highly recommend FA. Both are great so you can't go wrong either way.
